Here's iPhone 13 picture we know so far about the new iPhone's possible release date, iPhone display screen size, iPhone touch id, price, batteries and more.
1. iPhone 13 Naming
The upcoming 2021 iPhone will be named "iPhone 13" with the naming scheme of "mini," "Pro," and "Pro Max" variants for the entire lineup, according to the Economic Daily News.
2. iPhone 13 Price
As for how much the iPhone 13 will cost, we'd expect the prices to track with the iPhone 12 range — $699, $799, $999 and $1,099, respectively. Apple tends to keep its pricing for each new generation of iPhone relatively close to the one that preceded it.
3. iPhone 13 Release Date
The iPhone 12 debuted in a split launch and was delayed due to COVID-19. Multiple reports indicate that Apple's iPhone 13 is expected to launch in September on its usual cycle. An educated guess, a September 14 event with a release date of Friday 24 seems most likely based on previous rollout.
4. iPhone 13 Size
Apple will continue offering four iPhones in 2021, with no changes to the sizes, so we can expect a 5.4-inch iPhone mini, a 6.1-inch low-cost iPhone, a 6.1-inch Pro model, and a 6.7-inch Pro Max model. Rumors have suggested the iPhone 12 mini has seen lackluster sales, but Apple is still planning for an iPhone 13 mini at this time.
5. iPhone 13 Touch ID
According to Bloomberg, Apple is testing an in-screen Touch ID fingerprint reader that would mark a major change to the biometric systems that Apple has used for flagship devices since the launch of the iPhone X, so the new iPhone may have two different unlocking functions: iPhone touch ID and iPhone Face ID function.
If Apple does implement in-display Touch ID, the fingerprint sensor would be made available in addition to Face ID, and would be convenient for iPhone users who cannot unlock their iPhones with facial recognition when using masks.
In March 2021, Barclays analysts claimed that iPhone 13 models are "likely" to feature a fingerprint scanner embedded under the display for authentication, in addition to Face ID, but this has yet to be confirmed.
6. iPhone 13 Charging
The iPhone 13 could offer reverse wireless charging, so MagSafe Charger is still very useful for Apple users. According to tipster Max Weinbach, which would allow the iPhone to charge devices like the AirPods Pro and Apple Watch. However, Bloomberg previously reported that the iPhone 13 likely won't include reverse wireless charging. So at this stage we would consider this rumor up in the air.
7. iPhone 13 Larger Batteries
The iPhone 13 could take a big step forward in battery capacity than iPhone 12 Battery. The iPhone 13 models will have larger batteries, which could result in longer battery life.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is said to have a 4352mAh battery, up from 3687mAh in the iPhone 12 Pro Max, while the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro will feature a 3095mAh battery, up from 2815mAh in the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 mini is expected to include a 2406mAh battery, up from the 2227mAh battery in the iPhone 12 mini.
8. iPhone 13 Camera
There are some notable camera improvements coming in 2021. Sensor-shift stabilization will be expanded across the entire iPhone lineup, introducing improvements in low light performance and stabilization by reducing iPhone camera shake, with the feature rumored to be available for both the Wide lens and the Ultra Wide lens of the Pro models.
9. iPhone 13 Storage
128GB of storage, standard: Apple only granted 128GB base storage in the higher-tier iPhone 12 Pro models, leaving it out of the regular iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. That's a good first step, but Apple has really got to get with the times and offer a floor of 128GB iPhone Nand Flash in all iPhone 13 models. It's borderline offensive to spend nearly a grand on a premium smartphone that only packs 64GB from the factory, especially considering Apple's aversion to micro SD expandability.
From everything we've heard so far, the iPhone 13 is set to offer a 120Hz LTPO display on both Pro models, improved battery life thanks to a more efficient 5G modem, and substantial upgrades to the all-important cameras. That includes a new portrait video mode.
In brief, major design changes are not expected, and 2021 iPhones will have the same feature set as the 2020 iPhones, but we can count on camera improvements, a faster A-series processor, a new 5G chip from Qualcomm, increased battery life, and a tweak to the size of the notch.
