1. Increase the ringtone volume

The iPhone 7 Plus is in the Ring mode, but you still not hear the ringtone, perhaps the volume level is set to a lower level. Because the ringer volume can be set independently from the volume of the other sounds on your iPhone 7 Plus, so even if the other sounds are working properly, but the ringtone sound is still in lower level.

In order to increase the ringtone volume, please go to Settings-> Sounds & Haptics, and then drag the slider all the way to the right to turn your ringer Volume up.

2. Turn on the Ring/Silent Switch

As we know, the ring/silent switch is a quick button to switch whether the iPhone goes into ring mode. The Ring/Silent switch is in the upper-left corner of iPhone 7 Plus, which is next to the iPhone volume button it can easily be flipped even without you knowing. So, perhaps you accidentally turn off this switch, make iPhone 7 Plus into the Silent mode (you will see an orange line on this switch), so the iPhone 7 Plus won't ringing.

In order to check Ring/Silent switch, firstly, please check the left side of your iPhone 7 Plus, you will know your iPhone is on silent when you see a small orange line because switch is pulled away from the screen. When you switch the Ring/Silent button, there is a notification appears on your iPhone display screen.

3. Close" Do Not Disturb"

As we know, the "Do Not Disturb" is a function of the iPhone, when the "Do Not Disturb" is on, it can turn off or make all incoming calls, notifications and alerts in silent mode. You can control it on control center, Settings menu or Siri.

If you want to close it on Control Center, please swipe up from the bottom of the iPhone screen to enter the Control Center, tap the Do Not Disturb icon to turn it off.

If you want to close it on Settings menu, please go to Settings-> Tap Do Not Disturb.

4. Restart iPhone 7 Plus

Sometimes the settings or other simple software problems also can cause this problem, we can try to fix it by restarting.

In order to restart the iPhone 7 Plus, please hold and press the iPhone power button until you see the slide, and then drap the slide to the right side to turn off the iPhone 7 Plus. After the iPhone display screen is completely off for a while, please press the iPhone power button again to turn it on.

5. DFU Restore iPhone 7 Plus
