SUGON S-196 temperature tester calibrator for hot air gun BGA soldering station temperature measurement and calibration. Sugon S-196 digital thermometer detector used to measure the temperature of soldering iron tips, hot air gun, soldering station and desoldering station. Professional S-196 temperature test station.
SUGON S-191 Soldering Iron Tip Thermometer Tester With K-type Sensor Thermocouple Calibrator Suitable For Welding Rework Station.
Features:
Accurately test tip temperature, ground potential and grounding resistance.
Two-in-one design, optional probes can be used to measure solder pot or other liquid temperatures.
Using high reliability microcomputer detection, high precision.
Meet MIL-STD-2000 standard.
How to test the temperature of the soldering iron tip
Press the (°C/°F) button on the tester to select the desired temperature measurement unit. °C: means to display the temperature in Celsius. °F means to display the temperature in Fahrenheit.
Turn the selector switch to the "soldering iron" position.
Clean the tip of the soldering iron, then apply a new solder.
Quickly place the tip of the soldering iron on the test point of the temperature sensor.
Press the "MAXHOLD" button, the "M" symbol lights up, locks and displays the maximum temperature.
How to use it for soldering iron calibration
Press down the push rod in the direction, the red terminal connection of the sensor is marked with the positive (+) terminal, and the blue terminal connection is marked with the negative (-) terminal.
Plug in the power plug and turn on the power switch.
Precautions when testing soldering iron temperature
The tip of the soldering iron must not be oxidized when measuring, and it needs to be tinned.
Soldering tin and flux must be added to the tip of the soldering iron when measuring.
There will be a low temperature error when measuring the tip of a very sharp soldering iron tip.
If the temperature test probe is used for a long time, there will be deformation and temperature error, please replace it in time.
How to use it for hot air gun calibration
Turn on the device, turn the selector switch to the "air gun" position, when the tester shows the room temperature, you can start to operate.
Take off the air nozzle on the handle of the air gun, and insert the handle of the air gun into the temperature measuring port. Turn on the power switch of the device under test, set the test temperature value, and the device under test starts to warm up.
Press the (°C/"F) switch on the tester to select the desired temperature measurement unit. °C: means displaying Celsius temperature F means displaying Fahrenheit temperature.
During the test, the value in the display window keeps increasing, wait for a few seconds, and then read after the value is stable.
Press the "MAXHOLD" button, the "M" symbol lights up and locks and displays the maximum temperature.
Hot air gun temperature test precautions
When testing the temperature, the temperature measuring port and surroundings are at high temperature, please do not touch it to avoid burns.
Do not measure temperature near flammable gas or other flammable substances.
Keep the temperature measuring port of the temperature sensor assembly unblocked, and blockage is strictly prohibited.
Please preheat the air gun before measuring.
The measurement data of heating up from the cold state will be affected by the environment and its own preheating, and the data will be biased.
Use the attached dormant seat to put it on top of the handle to make the handle dormant, then remove the dormant seat, and read the temperature rise and constant temperature data.
If the displayed number continues to rise after reaching the set temperature, it proves that the constant temperature has not been reached.
After constant temperature, the displayed value will jump positive and negative within a small range, please use this data as the basis for air gun calibration.
If you do not stop the test after testing the constant temperature data
As the test time prolongs, the accumulation of temperature will cause a deviation of 5-10 degrees.
Even in an environment with stable temperatures, there will be a small deviation between the measured data and the calibrated data of the air gun. In order to make the use effect better, when calibrating
Please increase the temperature by 5-10 degrees to compensate for the temperature difference between the nozzle and the circuit board.
Notice: The value displayed by this tester is a relative reference value, please do not use it as a test standard, affected by the consistency of the materials required for production, there will be a certain numerical difference between each tester, which is affected by artificial setting calibration and environment temperature uniformity effects, There is normal variation between the values for each test.
