One of the biggest advantages of Trinocular Microscope is its versatility. For instance, for brightfield photographic purposes, the 20% visual- 80% photo system would be the ideal choice.
How to use a trinocular microscope
Step 1: Install 38MP HDMI Camera to the power supply. Plug the microscope’s power cord into an outlet.
Step 2: Switch on your microscope’s 144 LED Light and then adjust the diaphragm to the largest hole diameter, allowing the greatest amount of light through.
Step 3: Move the stage down to its lowest position and you will have a wider field of view at low power. It is easiest to scan a slide at a low setting. Move the slide until the specimen is under the Objective Lens.
Step 4: Adjust the large coarse focus knob until the specimen is in focus. Slowly move the slide to center the specimen under the Objective Lens.
Step 5: Then adjust the diaphragm to get the best lighting. Start with the most light and gradually lessen it until the specimen image has clear, sharp contrast.
Step 6: Get an overview of the specimen though Microscope Eyepieces by scanning the slide (right to left and top to bottom) at low side. Then center the part of the specimen you want to view at higher power.
Replacing with the 40x objective for 400x magnification will enable you to see all of the specimen detail that’s necessary for repair work.
Calculating magnification
To see an object, the eye piece lens and the objective lens magnification are multiplied together to give the total magnification.
Total magnification = eye piece lens magnification × objective lens magnification
For example: 10 × 20 = 200
Magnification = 200
NOTES:
Do not touch the glass part of the lenses with your fingers. Use only special lens paper to clean the lenses.
Always keep your microscope covered when not in use.
Your microscope slide should be prepared with a coverslip over the sample to protect the objective lenses if they touch the slide.
Always carry a microscope with both hands. Grasp the arm with one hand and place the other hand under the base for support.
